The Reunion Game

In a far off corner of space, known to many as FACEBOOK, heroes have discussed the possibility of once again joining the ranks of adventurers and creating memorable moments while braving the dangerous and fantastical machinations of The Bubbling Dark. Here is where his plans will be made clear, here is where those heroes truly interested let their intentions be known, and here is where we will prepare for The Game of Tomes!

What kind of character are you hoping to half, I'm leaning towards a medieval DQ System adventure. Not fully decided but I'll be making everyone's character ahead of time so that we can jump right in. I want you guys to let me know what kind of build you're interested in and I'll create around those choices.

I'm thinking a rouge type character might be my choice.

Since I love DQ what I might do is tweek the rules so that Mages don't lose so many turns casting. It could be cool.

One pulse to pass and prepare then the next turn the spell is cast and the mage can still act. No lose two turns.

This is the world that our heroes live. They are the ones to crack the secret of Usher's Monument and saving the Kingdom of York. The group are all old allies, some friends and some enemies, but together they seek to claim what lies inside.

what about clerics are you gonna help them out a bit they kinda suck too. i would also like to play in cnc i think its better for us all, so so far its me cory and one person said cnc...just saying

Now that you aren't gay anymore, we all has girlfriends or is married. That show cracks me up.

I feel like CnC NEEDS the books at all times where DQ only needs the books during character creation and spell use. It might just be me but if you guys want CNC I'll need someone to print so character sheets... we'll see so far:

I think the best thing for me would to make a Robot man that is also a Phasma and a Hunter+.

That or an air mage.

i was thinking of doing a healer of some kind are you going to change them up or bit, if not then ill most likely make a fighter of some sort. a fighter that specialises in some kind uniqe weapon im not sure yet.

Castle and Crusades seems to be the general consensus but I really want to try this with DQ. I'll leave it to a vote. I'll leave it open until tomorrow evening and I'll go with whatever you guys decide.

The story will be a dungeon craw primarily with plenty of traps, treasures, and monsters. I'm interested in what you guys want as far as items/magic and mundane as well as monsters. No request is too stupid, no monster too outlandish I just expect players to rise to the challenges they ask for. The sooner you guys reply the more likely I am to throw it into the adventure.

hmmm....4 vs. 6? Lets see..... I hardly ever played DQ and learning the game some ore is fun. The last char i has was that air mage and he stomped. The 17 round casting was annoyin and interesting. You just need to adapt.

- I like the cultist comment in your description for DQ. maybe an undercover clustist....Also I can play anything u roll up. Challenge me a bit.

- If we play CnC i want to roll up a mage/thief. This might change, but a sticking with a duel class.

Actually, Leetin my old friend, voting ends tonight and you're the only vote so far. I guess DQ is winning. A cultist sounds like fun. Yet if we go DQ where there are no classes just the skills you choose the question becomes what skills will create your Toon?

If we go Castles and Crusades I think a Wizard/Thief would help round the party makeup. We'll see what's agreed upon.

Hmmmm... someone asked me for some crazy things last night (Won't say any names...) and if I give them even a fraction of what they want I think I'll give the cultist the ability to summon a small demon like creature to fight for them... could be awesome. It depends on the system we use and what the other players want.
