k, so those with bodies are out of hell, and the rest remain.

Now do we play two different campaigns?

That of hel and that of the living?

when i came in today i was told that basically yesterday some people came out of no where kill the chain demons and whatever else was there that was a treat. then told everyone were blowing up this place you have an hour to get what you came here for then were leaving. so our chooses were leave the castle now and forfeit any chance of finding what you came here for (the other souls) or go find them and then come get out with us which at the end ment everyone except for chad pat and nail would die. now at this point the DM has not given us one bit of guidance or any kinda direction on what the adventure is ether suppose to be or what the storyline is so like most would do we followed and we did "the right thing" now at this point the only thing we got when it comes in terms of storyline was from a shady man who only gave half thurths (carlino williams).
for me from the begging of this whole nine hells story arc it seams like there was no story at all except for what talis and chad's goals were. we had to make our own goals and adventures in here. i mean were in the nine hells out of all the possibility that could happen in this place all the adventure that could have took place it seam like the dm did nothing he explained the would we see and that was it. maybe im wrong maybe its not the job of the Dm to create the adventure for the pc's to play in so we made our own adventure save the souls.
this reminded me of a champaign we played with chris were we where just wondering around his world blind not knowing what the hell we were surpose to be really doing because we were not doing what chris wanted us to do.
my point in all this is we thought the Dm was finally giving us some guidance into an adventure that would bring us all together as a party and we went along with it and at the end everyone died as if we all did something wrong, we were punished for playing but if we all played like jose and did nothing at all we would all be alive.

I can see where you would feel there was no adventure laid out for the party, you miss a number of sessions. Unfortunately you also expect the Game Master to hold your hand and lead you by the nose. You, Random, were actually the only Hell character expressly given a quest and you were doing a good job of it. There were plenty of encounters that would have fleshed out what was going on for the confused PC but most encounters are met with immediate violence or the party running away, usually led by you. It felt like the adventure followed Talis and Co. because it did, they're quest brought them to Hell where there rest joined up.

There was a constant distinction between the living and spirits so that players understood where they stood. Carlino Williams, 'The Paladin' and Hershal Bones were thrown in to guide those players that asked for guidance and helped in their own ways. Even the Valkyrie were present to answer questions. Clues were filtered to the party through in-game conversations as well as this awesome forum Lyrah inspired. There was definitely a storyline for players that paid attention and comprehended.

You were in a hellish wasteland searching for a needle in a haystack. I'm sorry that marching across such a place seemed like wandering around aimlessly but... that's exactly what the party chose. Before you all left Neverblack it was suggested that a Soul Tracker be hired but of course you all ran off into the unknown with no information. Bad or stupid roleplaying can not be pinned on the Game Master. In real life if you were heading to an unfamiliar location you would Mapquest it at the least, but you all roleplay never investigating what awaits you.

All of this aside, I never said the end. You asked me should you be rolling up a new character and I shrugged. I never said the adventure was over. I'm a far better storyteller than you give me credit for but you all should be willing to deal with the consequences of your choices. I'm playing Monday. Whoever wants to play should show up. Those who can't cope are free to keep their distance.

HAHA!!!! I wasn't going to reply but you just had to put that I didn't do anything huh? I did exactly what my character would do, and for that I'm not dead...No one said you have to leave with those guys, you didn't even know who they were...I still don't understand why everyone left Talis behind, knowing he was trying to find a way for you guys to get out...as for the DM not giving you guidance, I don't know what he told you but I was in the party because they needed someone to "show them the ropes" of hell and how things worked and to help them in any way I could. I completed my job for the Geek, they found the souls they were looking for and left hell. Why would I leave? I have yet to complete my personal goal so I stayed. When/If I go back to the Geek, I can tell him what happened and how well I completed the job he gave me...So I had all the guidance that was needed. Maybe he told you something but you wasn't paying attention or forgot or thought it was irrelevant, but I'm sure he gave you all you needed to do whatever you wanted...Don't blame him for your short comings and for your rashness in your decisions. The only person that could be mad would be Raheem because he didn't hear or didn't understand what the DM meant when he said he was dead. Everyone else who came back as a ghost with no body to enter can only be mad at themselves for not thinking about any movie or TV show that has to do with demons. They always have the speculation/limitation that they have to possess a person or animal to exist in the material plane. What made you think you would have less of a limitation than a much more powerful being that does these kinds of things constantly? One last thing I don't understand...Why is everyone so upset? Everyone, other than myself and maybe Talis, completed their mission/task that they had for themselves. Some just wanted to return to the material the material plane, done. Others wanted to save Daichii and/or Chase, done. Others wanted to return their children's body and soul to the material plane, done. Shit, even the new guy who just wanted to blow up the "castle" we were in is almost done... I don't get it...

consequences. It seems like we all faced them last night. I felt as though I didn't listen to myself and because of that I am facing consequences of my actions. Everything was laid out in front of us and me and a leader should ave asked questions or at least took charge. This is my fault guys. If I was a better leader I would have found out more about what would have happened when dead people tried to go to the living world. I knew that we would either be ghosts or spirits however I knew we would not be alive. An d on top of that Jayden would not have left Talis behind like that. We were brothers and He wouldn't have. I'm playing like a total noob nowadays and It's cause I'm nervous about leading the group. Especially a group that makes it their duty not to listen to the leaders when shit gets bad. I was under the impression last night that I knew I was going to die. I even told lem on the side that i said a small prayer to delilah that if I died it was a pleasure serving her. Something never seemed right and I knew we would be dead. So once again I am sorry guys and now I am left with nothing more than consequences.

Fuck.

Guys you can blame this on Darious. He knew the answers. On the side I spoke with Lem about my thoughts and he agreed. The paRTY WAS DAMBED.

My new guy was not aware of the differences and I even asked Lem again and he agreed. I would have told u with Van Zan, but the departed D was a dick.

The Dm did put in a lot of hints on our outcome. The worst part was that everyone was happy to only be a slave soul....?!?! HUH.

I just do not get it. My background was VERy specific and that is why my mission was asuccess and many were freed from hell.

If I was playing yesterday The Teifling and the Dragon were getting left behind....you are both infernal beings. The world should not have to bear that burden.

Give Jack there jacket, I agree that Jose did roleplay his character to the point at which he was suppose to carry it out. I no that I wasn't around much but when I roleplayed, he did tell me wat the situation was and wat had to be done. Now, as for Talis, nobody talked about him much, they only mentioned finding the souls and leaving hell. So, when I first arrived at the party wit Alan's character and Gin(Khourie) knocked him out, it made me wonder if this is a good idea to walk amongst u guys but for the fact of leavin hell so that I could be given another chance at life to fulfill my quest, I would join u guys. As for wat the DM did, he gave us an option to do wat's in our hearts, lol, which was to leave now or wait for Talis to reveal the location of escape. Again, I left so that I can complete my mission, and I even complement Jose because he stayed to do his. In the end, nobody is to blame for the mistakes we all made because yes I may have got back Daichi but Ichirou(the monk) did not have much air time and I felt that for the time I had him I should of roleplayed better wit him. But as for Daichi, "Where is Darius.....where is Talis....I wish to speak to my good friends once again."

im kinda confused as to what i would do, i havent played in two sessions and my character might have stayed with talis. But i know that means new character and new beginnings if i didnt role with the party, but i feel everything is done for a reason. so i will role with the punches and stick it out.

seriously i dont think we needed a leader. the mantle of leader was bullied from jayden because he is in a bad place right now. lol all im saying is that i will be playing chase main character for now and have jayden be the back up character. so i guess for the time being you may be leader. good job and next time if your going to be leader say it in game hey im leader. because you didnt and you just told someone who does not see you as a leader to do something that he didnt want to do. out of game you told lem that there was supposed to be a leader but you never said it in game so chase will not listen to you until you convince him as to why you should be leader. especially wen what our telling him to do is not in his best interests. he is not a prisoner and was dead for quite some time. and then your going to tell him what to do. and your short. gimme a break. until you convince him otherwise he will keep doing what he does. jayden will listen for now because he is preoccupied with finding out what happened and how to fix himself to give marrick a proper burial. until that day good job and good luck

First of all, we had two leaders, one was sinn and the other, talis. when the title of "leader" was open to anybody, no one wished to enroll for the position. so people stepped up and made it happened. honestly, i don't think anybody would of followed jayden around. and who bullied u out of bein a leader dude. lol. seein as there isn't any talis or sinn in the position rite now, we all no each other and should all be leaders but i speak for myself when i say that i choose to follow the one that i believe is a true leader. i don't doubt myself that i too can be a leader but it has to be shown that one can lead. so if pat's character shows that he's a dominant leader, he's got the support of daichi. and jus to let u no....i've got my eye on u. cyclops

Quick update for everyone who did not show up yesterday.

All who has an alt character:

Neal
Jaden
Lians guy?

Are not on the current mission. They were left behind at Fort Edefic (??Spelling??).

So, the current group of adventurer's are as follows:

Chase
Sinn
Daichi
Pats guy?
Mikes guy?
The other monk guy?
Van Zan (me)

Now anyone on the above list was provided gear and has it on their character. We have a separate sheet with each persons equiptment; just ask for it (Pat) next time you play.

As a side note. Its not too late to switch you character around, but its too late to purchase gear. You can always take your other characters gear if you want.

See you all today, and looking forward to playing.
