ok so im the new leader....since im not used to being a leader im going to need help in being one. I am used to the original lotf leaderhip style where we all work together and we are all leaders. i.e. "hey i have an idea to get out. lets hear it. blah blah blah. sounds good. lets try it." i liked that. i would like to continue that. But since thats not what we are used to then I have to step up and be something that Im not used to. I am going to need some time to change and transform into the person you want me to be

Avernus, Blackened Heart Mountain Range, Charnel Peak Citadel...

The party approach the huge mountain on which their destination rest perilously at the top. The mountain is impossible to scale for the uninitiated so the only plausible route of entry is the ominous portal that sits at the mountain's base. The party cautiously approaches the door, that bore the visage of a withered face, and it spoke:

"All living that pass through this door, forfeits their soul"

With nothing to lose and thus nothing to fear the party enters the dungeon of Charnel Peak Citadel in hopes of finding the souls of their lost. Puzzles, traps and the mighty Franklyn Xth await them. Will their determination prove their guiding light to salvation? Or will their end be yet another tragic tale from The Land of the Four?

No weeping. The party, as a group, chose to infiltrate this citadel. They want the souls of their friends back. They want to confront the tormentor of their existance...

They want Franklyn, who by the by has a really wimpy name. He's probably a push over... just saying.

The change I refered to hinged on the party leaving Avernus.

The below is a topic that Darius mentions to Jaden (In Game):

Jaden? I had time to think (me, last night driving home). I felt that you and me were always adds with each other, but after recent events I realize I was wrong. We have been through a lot together; damb I even went to hell with Talis to get you back.

Its our Destiny to be together (pass's a sideways glance at Bones), destiny....You tried to save my life yesterday, we worked a couple of times and made a great team. I think at this point i can call you "friend". A word that I do not use to often especially to a man to has plenty (Meaning you).

We will get out of hell together side by side. I also, offer my assistance and advise. Let me be your number two and we can can perform miracles together.

From this day for I wish to call you friend; if you accept.

Jayden, don't fall for it, we all called each other friend or even brothers Evil or Very Mad (aimed towards Talis) and see wat we have to give for it. A ride through the nine hells. Now, brother is a name earned by only a few.(That's wat Daichi would say before taking Darius down)

sure. i believe we can be friends. I also believe we can get out of here. If we work together we can get out of here. Thank you for coming down here to save me and Sinn. That guy blames himself since we have been down here for us being dead. You have proven yourself as a friend so i will treat you as such. (does the forearm handshake).

and @ diachi: he is my friend. It is impossible to add anyone else to our brotherhood. That was a once in a lifetime moment. Only the people with the dragon claw or who had the dragon claw at that moment could be a brother. I forgot randoms character but that one also had a dragon claw. he was a brother. so if he is in here we save him also. After we save you we get out. Thats the plan

Reflecting on things to come...

High Balance Eleanor Rigby picked up the rice in the church where a wedding has just concluded. There are acolytes that could be doing such a menial task but she likes to keep her hands dirty, as they say. She stared at the grain between her fingers and wondere at the strange caprices of fate. Had her upbringing been different, had she been educated in a different setting, had she not accepted the call of Primus she wouldn't hold her current position within JUSTICE. She would not have to make decisions that put so many lives in danger. The plan was meticulously thought through and the analyst had calculated The Enemy's response. She knew that a war was on the horizon. But she did what had to be done, all in the name of justice.

She reflected. Khan was the best Judicator the order had ever produced. His men were trained personally by Juggernaut Haynes and they were all devoted to the cause. He won't fail in his mission. High Balance Rigby raised a fist and let the rice trickle into her other hand and thought of the many lives that would be lost due to her choices. Grain after grain piled together in acollection of unmoving indivduals not unlike a mass grave. It had been a week ago that she sat the paladin down and explained to him what her orders were and what she expected him to do. A dark force was rising and it threatened to unleash chaos upon the world. The order would not act openly until blood had been spilled, which has always been their way. Well, she knew how to encourage others to act.

At a command Khan blindly led his men through the gate bearing the device that would set things in motion. He was loyal to a fault. Yet He was truly what the ordered needed, men that followed orders unerringly and without question. She was something the order would have to do without. When all was said and done justice would need to be handed out to all guilty parties. The deaths she caused would have to be avenged but what she did was a necessary evil. Like Khan, she followed orders too.

My thoughts on structure we gearing towards

Balance
Judicator
Riteious

Regardless the Riteious are the lowest tier of the three

Darius had plans evil plans.

My two most current goal before death were very hard and simple.

Jaden. stage one, gain his friendship and convert to the dark side. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

Second. On the surface world, build the legions of the faithful. This is also only a glimpse of the actual plan.

I am very sad of his demise, but was realizing his plans were only getting grander as time passed. When would It end?

He was a very complicated Character.

An Angel's Death

True Silver rang against cold iron/silver alloy as the beauties continued their mortal combat. Amazonian in size, both women would have towered over the average man yet with their outstretched wings they appeared massive. One was a Valkyrie, cousin of the angel and similar in every way except conviction and drive. Her name was Laurant de Greta, daughter of the seventh and rearguard of the twelve, her white dove-like wings standing out in contrast to her black armor. The other was an Erinyes, once counted among the angelic host but altered by the taint of evil and twisted by the powers of the Archdukes, her black wings attacking as furiously as her wickedly serrated blade. Armor bore scars and naked flesh held open wounds as the two struck blow after blow. As if it was what they were born for, the two took to wing.

Laurant could see the battle raging bellow and again wondered how the last of Gwen's daughters had arrived in Hell. One moment she was training within the inner courtyard of the castle in the clouds the next there was a great rending that shook masonry and soul with equal vigor. There was only course of action. To save their home the Valkyrie broke the 13th seal and emerged from within the depths of the Pact Sword. They found the new wielder, Angelslayer, and a companion unconscious in a nightmarish landscape of raining fire. Allysia quickly administered to them even as the first wave of The Hellsword fell upon them. They knew where they were but not how and that's what bothered Laurant most of all. She who reveled in battle more than any of the other eleven, she who craved freedom from their sword/prison. She who was the youngest but mightiest of all of Gwen's daughters fell her opponent with a thrust that pierced chest, heart and spine watched as the fallen angel crashed to the ground broken and defeated and laughed.

The Valkyrie existed for one purpose, to slay angels whether exalted or fallen.

Weekly Update

Avernus, Blackened Heart Mountain Range, Charnel Peak Citadel...

With Talis gone Jayden has assumed leadership of the party. They venture forth; Tefflynn, Dominus, Sinn, Nael, Ravynn, Darius and Nas in search of fallen allies friends and companions. It isn't long before they are confronted by a soul hungry Enigma that totes around illusions like an accomplished mage followed by detached flesh that craved to be joined. These challenges were overcome with a little effort. The party proved that its current incarnation was a well oiled machine, 4 fighter types, 2 healers, a thief and 2 wizards. Eager to find their friends and leave the increasing unease of Charnel Peak the party rushed through the dungeon and eventually came upon a room where the phrase carnal pleasure was given a dark and twisted revamping.

Lose One, Gain Three
The party comes across a scene of sodomy and torture and Darius sneaks in and sets up the sneak attack Lightening Bolt Two Bearded Devils and three tortured souls die during his 84 dmg assault and the rest of the party come to loot unaware of the Devil that Darius missed. The chains in the room attack and the party runs out of the room like, well like bats out of Hell. Darius comes back into the room to find the source of the Dancing Chains. The Chain Devil that appeared proved a difficult match-up for the Cleric 8/Wizard 7 due to Spell Resistance but Darius would not be defeated. He took on the polymorphed mantle of a Barbed Devil and evened the odds. As Darius began to gain the upper hand in one on one melee with the Chain Devil Dominus prepared for an assassination. Darius is dropped by the party and the Chain Devils decide how to show their thanks. Three of the tortured souls managed to gain freedom and two stayed behind to help their saviors.

Enter JUSTICE
Even as Darius' life's blood poured from his mortal neck wound a gate appears a room away and out trod four men dressed in field plate and bearing markings of a religious order. Between them they carry a strange box that they call The Bomb. They leader assesses the situation and sets his soldiers to work preparing the gift they brought for Franklyn Xth. The part asks for help and Van Zan, a giant of a man, replies by helping them kill one Chain Devil and scaring the other away. The victory is short lived as the party once more flees from incoming doom to find the wounded Jayden help. His stalwart allies the Valkyrie return to save him as Van Zan, his commander Khan and Sinn hold the line.

The party explains their goal and suggest an alliance but Khan shows no interest in solidarity. He offers the party the assistance of his number 2, Van Zan Shazam over the course of an hour for after that they were leaving. Seeing a way out of Hell the party hastily searched for their lost quarry. More devils fell to their combined efforts but the arrival of a Fire Giant halted their progress, defeating Jayden, Ravynn and Shazam. Teffllynn and Haraku down the brute and once the party is again stand they move on. The party eventually comes to a room holding rows of Soul Orbs, Hells main currency, and bodies frozen in some sort of stasis. With the clock ticking the group frantically searched for comrades and souls to match. Sinn/Daichi, Nael/Chase and Tefflynn/His son are reunited. The bodies and souls were separate but the party ran back to Khan hoping that that small detail wouldn't matter.

Khan waited ready for his team to leave and once Van Zan returned began his departure. He looked back and offered those that wished to leave a chance to depart. Ravynn was the first to accept the invitation and all others followed except for Calm and Dominus.

The Ugly Truth
Most of the party that entered Charnel Peak Citadel were dead walking the lands of Hell. None thought of the consequences of returning to the Material Plane. Sinn returned Daichi to a body but possessed none for himself. Jayden held Marreck's body and his soul, in desperate need, took hold of it. Nael and Chase were reunited and Tefflynn's son returned to the land of the living secretly triumphant. All others that returned, bodiless on without form have shown no sign of making it out of Hell...
...
And the Saga Continues...
...
