Also I'm wondering if we can maybe condition some kind of control. The first time he transformed Xavros was in the same room and I wasn't attacked. That to me hints at some kind of subconscious control. Just wondering.

That could be the case. I have a theory though. Since I have an arachnoid version of a Sarnic blood curse, I'm guessing that the 26 1/2 people I killed could have been descendents of some enemy of the Sarnic people(possibly), have Sarnic blood themselves(possibly), or subconsciously I still recognized you guys as friends and didn't kill you(I hope not).
