Ok so I'm going to post one item for now and wait to see how long it takes the DM to say no. I haven't finished stating out all the abilities, but I figure I should try now and not waist my time when he says no...
I want a weapon. It's not just a weapon, but it's the ultimate weapon of opportunity. It is a weapon that has enchantments/enhancements on/built in it. It is a weapon that can change into any weapon at any time the wielder wishes it to. Each weapon it changes into has a different enchantment/enhancement.
Some examples:
Greatsword of Cleaving-->
Description Able to cut trees 6 ft in diamiter, stone pillars 3ft in diamitter, metal poles 1 ft in diamiter.
Ability Grants the wielder the ability to cut creatures in half when hit. After a successful hit the wielder has to make a str check, then has to roll under the percent for the size of the creature.
Medium SmallFine--> 100 90
Diminutive--> 80 70
Tiny--> 70 60
Small--> 60 50
Medium--> 50 30
Large--> 30 15
Huge--> 20 10
Gargantuan--> 10 05
Colossal--> 05 02
I made the percentages in accordance to how hard it would be to cut a creature of that size all the way threw, not how hard their skin/armor is or anything like that. It is strickly base off of the size and girth that comes with that size.
Meteor Axe-->
Description This greataxe, when brought down upon a foe from above, brings with it the power of a meteor. All that is left is the wielder inside a large crater.
Ability Works as the spell Meteor Swarm from 3.5 with the exception that the creature hit is automatically in the range of all four spheres(for dmg purposes, there aren't really any spheres). all
creatures that are not the wielder and are not hit by the axe take one sphere worth of dmg.
And now for something none of you would've guessed I'd make because it's not outright dmg.
Dagger of Sleep-->
Description This dagger has the unfathamable ability to put anything to sleep. It can even put the gods into a slumber.
Ability This dagger
always does 1 dmg. It does however leave behind, in the target, infinately small particles of itself that dissolve in the creature that put it to sleep. The creature sleeps for 1d4 turns or takes dmg of any amount other than 0. Creature immune to magical sleep or immune to diseases or poisons are affected as well. The method in which the particles are left behind is magical in nature, but the dissolving of the metal in the body is not. It is also not a disease or poison that puts the target to sleep. It is like taking a sleeping pill.
So these are just a few I came up with. There are more like the
Wolf Spear of Dragon Fiercebane, but I figured this was enough of an example of what I was thinking of.
I'm sorry for all the spelling mistakes, but I've been writing this post for a while now and I really don't want to go back and make my corrections... So deal with it
