Name of the Wind

So this is the first book of a trilogy, but I have to say I really enjoy it. Rather then go the stereotypical hero route, it showcases how legends are made. Both the fictious and real sides of the hero. I'd really recomend reading it.

My coworker put me on to that series, the name alone interested me. She's been talking bout it nonstop but now that is has a second endorsement imma give it a shot.

This isn't my usual type of book, but I love discussing books, so I am all in. I need to buy the book. I am trying to decide if I should just get it on my Kindle Fire or buy a copy. I've read a few books on my Kindle, but I prefer actual books.

Are we going to put a time limit on when the first 10 chapters should be read. Like 10 chapters a week or something?

I am a heavy but slow ass reader lol. I will get the book and read it since it has the endorsement. But I am way to damn busy to read 10 chapters a week but i will try. I do read a lot and have gone thru most of R. A. Salvatore's books. A freaking Ton of Star Trek books (GEEK). a bunch of Stephen Kings, Ann Rice up to the vampire Armand. Most of the Forgotten Realms books. Nights of the Rose books, Jack Campbell's books, A lot of Douglas Preston, Lincoln Childs, shit all of this reading it would seem that I have no life lol. But many other authors that I cant remember off hand.

Gonna start reading it today, had to finish Lem's story.

Okay I downloaded the whole trilogy. I will start it tomorrow since I am on vacation.

I just gotta say chapter 2 was awesome, that is all.
