So a few of us have read the series... I think. This is how I would rate these (mostly) awesome books:

1) Tale of the Thunderbolt (book 3)
2) Valentine's Resolve (6)
3) Way of the Wolf (1)
4) Valentine's Rising (4)
5) Choice of the Cat (2)
6) Fall With Honor (7)
7) Valentine's Exile (5)
Winter Duty (

I can't be 100% but I think my list would look just like yours. Except that I might put Fall before Exile... I haven't read Winter yet. Thunderbolt is probably the best closely followed by Resolve and then I would say Rising.

You guys talk about this series a lot. I should buy the first two to see whats up with all the hype.
