I was expecting a little more, I'm not the biggest fan of milling. But I can't denied that those are some powerful effects and it's a good card

They are also gonna print a new planeswalker names Koth and a new Elspeth. I was hoping they would just reprint the original Elspeth.

I'm feeling a bit of nostalgia. Mirridon was the current set when I started playing back in 03-04. It was the end all for me. The idea of multiple planes was new and fresh and being the writer I am it appealed to me in many ways. So here we have Mirridon an artificial plane made by a construct turned planeswalker and stewarded by a construct obsessed with becoming like his master(and secretly corrupted by a piece of darkness that is never really discussed). Memnark(who probably stole his name from ME, Lemnark!) devised a way to steel souls and trap them on Mirridon in semi-artifice, back then there were no colored artifacts so while in flavor they were metallic these creatures avoided being artifacts, in hopes of finding someone with the planeswalker spark and removing it for himself.

The concept was cool but the books fell flat.

Enter Scars of Mirridon. There are so many things I would and could do with Mirridon as a writer. Maybe the Eldrazi broke through to the plane. Maybe Memnark is not dead. Maybe one of his construct abominations has taken his place as ruler of the metal plane. Could be many things...

New Pherexia is the name that blew this whole thing open for me. I was excited before but now I'm giddy with anticipation. Sets Weatherlight through Apocalypse tell the story of a dark plane ruled by a master of necromancy and artifice named Yawgmoth and his attempt to conquer Dominaria. He is stopped by the planeswalker Urza and his centuries spanning counter measures. Most of these revolved around Karn the Steel Golem, the centerpiece to The Legacy Weapon who would later gain Urza's spark when both Urza and Yawgmoth are destroyed. I digress...

Yawgmoth, master of artifice and dark magic+ strange darkness that secretly clung to Karn but stayed behind on Mirridon to corrupt Memnark+ A new darkness threatens Mirridon and its called New Pherexia!

Yawgmoths dark artificial plane was once known as... PHEREXIA.

WOW! Someone is hyped.

I guess if they do split it into two faction, I know who you are siding with. lol

I hope Koth is a reincarnation of Yawgmoth with abilities that are geared towards reanimation and artifacts. It would be sick. Black or Black/Blue would be appreciated.

That would be sick and fit with the flavor of mirrodin and pherexia

No infest is gonna be like a replacement for the keywords wither and poisonous x.
