Prologue...
Behold! Behold The Kingdom of Tantarie. See its colors: blues, greens, yellows. Know that the kingdom is vast, well as far as such human kingdoms can be. See it prosper. See is people happy and content. Know that its allies revel in an equal prosperity. Know that this great kingdom is a paragon for human civilization. Know that The Kingdom of Tantarie attracts jealousy.
Behold Tantarie! Watch as it burns. See its colors: reds, oranges, yellows, black. Know that the warlord Quistix Gorgonson watches the fires and is content. His armies plunder, rape, raze. Tantarie suffers. Watch as the young King Kaladon III and heroes from The Alliance ride against Gorgonson. Witness! Witness the grand battle. Witness the mighty Gorgonson turn his enemies to stone with but a breath. Watch the mighty fall. Hear Gorgonson's dying words:
Behold The Kingdom of Tantarie! It is 50 years after the Fall of Gorgonson. See the kingdom prosper once more. See its colors: blues, greens, yellows... grays. The kingdom weeps. The gray spreads. The people are turned to stone. The trees, the birds, all stone. Tantarie is dying. Many fear that it is The Curse of Gorgonson. They are right. The land is being consumed by a plague of petrification. Many fear that this is just the beginning.

The players of this adventure will assume the roles of the New Heroes of the Alliance sent on a quest to attain The Horn of Asclepius, a tool believed to be able to break the curse. As this is a One Shot and WE are notorious for wasting time creating characters I'll be pre-rolling the heroes. Something different, right?
They will be pre-equipped and we will have a few minutes of introduction before we jump right into the adventure. The party will entail:
1 knight
2 fighter
1 ranger
1 cleric
1 wizard
1 rogue
optional cast:
1 barbarian
1 monk
1 bard
I would like to know what roles you guys would like to play. I would also like to know what magic, monsters, and other miscellaneos things will make you guys happy. Let me know by Wednesday if possible.
Game on Saturday @ 12pm
