Pretty damn obvious, but it helps flesh out the universe to have a legit religion in it. Even if it's basically just a plagiarized version of an existing story.

Lost interest in book 2. I figured out what happened to the Kvothe for the most part, and now I'm just...bleh. I'll get into it again though, especially now that I need a break from Monster Hunter.

Finished this Friday, loved it. Need the second book. Great read. The structure of the book was fantastic.
